Direct answer
What is polished concrete?
Polished concrete is best for internal floors where long service life, light return, and architectural finish matter. Perth Concrete Care mechanically grinds, densifies, refines, guards, and hands over the floor with maintenance advice matched to the slab and room use.
System
What it is.
We grind the slab with diamond tooling, densify it chemically so the concrete becomes harder, then polish through the specified grit sequence. The reflection comes from the concrete itself, not a film sitting on top.
A clean architectural floor with controlled aggregate exposure, better light return, and no topical coating to peel.

Popular polished concrete exposure levels
Exposure changes the amount of stone visible in the finished floor. The correct cut depends on the slab, aggregate, design intent and tolerance for natural variation.
